This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement is made by Man with Van Camden in respect of its operations and supply chains. We are committed to conducting our business ethically and with integrity, and to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking have no place in our activities or in the services we procure from others.

Modern slavery is a crime and a grave violation of fundamental human rights. It includes slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour, bonded labour, and human trafficking. Man with Van Camden recognises the risks that can exist within the transport, logistics, and wider service sectors, and we are determined to play our part in identifying, preventing, and addressing such practices.

Our Zero-Tolerance Policy

Man with Van Camden operates a clear, zero-tolerance policy towards modern slavery and human trafficking. We do not accept any form of exploitation within our own operations or within the practices of those who supply goods and services to us. This applies to all workers regardless of their role, employment status, or location.

We expect every person working for or on behalf of Man with Van Camden, including employees, casual workers, contractors, agency staff, and business partners, to share this commitment. Any suspected involvement in modern slavery will be taken extremely seriously and may result in termination of contracts or working relationships, and where appropriate, will be reported to the relevant authorities.

Our Supply Chain Standards and Supplier Audits

Our supply chain includes vehicle hire providers, fuel suppliers, equipment providers, storage facilities, recruitment agencies, and other professional and support services. We aim to engage only with suppliers who uphold high ethical standards and comply with all applicable labour and human rights laws.

Man with Van Camden is developing and maintaining a risk-based approach to assessing suppliers. Where we identify higher-risk categories or regions, we may conduct additional checks and request evidence of policies and procedures aimed at preventing modern slavery. We reserve the right to undertake audits and assessments of key suppliers, either directly or through independent third parties, to evaluate compliance with our standards.

Suppliers who fail to meet our expectations or who are unwilling to address identified issues may have their contracts reviewed or terminated. New suppliers are informed of our zero-tolerance stance and are expected to cooperate with any reasonable due diligence and audit activity we deem necessary.

Training, Awareness, and Reporting Channels

We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks among our staff and relevant contractors. This may include providing information and training on how to recognise potential indicators of exploitation, particularly in higher-risk activities such as recruitment, subcontracting, and temporary labour arrangements.

Man with Van Camden encourages all staff, contractors, and suppliers to report any concerns or suspicions about modern slavery or unethical working practices. Concerns can be raised internally through management channels or through other established reporting routes within the business. Reports will be treated seriously and handled sensitively, with no victimisation of any person who raises a concern in good faith.

Where necessary, we will cooperate with law enforcement agencies and other relevant bodies to support investigations into suspected cases of modern slavery or human trafficking.
